Obama didn’t choose Hillary Clinton as his running mate. I’d wager that 18 million voters disagree with his decision.
If he can’t even change the gender politics within his own party, why does anyone think he can unite the United States?
For those of you reading this who are thinking, “that’s preposterous, Obama isn’t sexist.” Ask yourself why gender equality is not an “issue” for you.
Why is the occupation of Iraq or the budget crises more important that the equality of women? I suggest that you are the one with your priorities askew.
Sure, some Republicans are hoping that you will vote for Palin simply because she is a woman. But I know better than that. You are saying, no, I will vote for someone on the issues and I would never vote for a woman who was pro-life. Obviously you weren’t going to vote for Palin in the first place.
But, I hope you remember everytime you see her face and you are filled with hate and anger, that what she really represents is Obama’s inability to put aside politics and ask a woman, Hillary, the woman with the most popular votes in the history of the U.S. to be his VP. Sarah Palin is not an insult because of who she is but what Obama isn’t. A feminist.
Obama is business as usual with an extra slap in the face to feminists and women everywhere.
